Not working Bose Remote My bose remoe actually works, when controling the system itself, such as a volume, cnanging input, etc. The problemis that it wont control the T.V. I suspect that it is just the signal receptor, as the system recently got sent in for repairs, andeverything else is fine. Any assurance and helpfor the roblem would be appreciated.

check the voltage setting on the power supply that connects the power cord to the media center. Mine was set to 230V. Changed it to 115V and the video starting working.

I hd this same problem a couple of months ago. Disconttect all peripherals (any exterior amps, roommates) plug the power connector and wait for two minutes, while waiting connect the main system. try turning the LS 48 on. If this clears thing turn off the LS 48 and connect the peripheral one at a time testing with each new connection. Happy hunting.

Had an issue with the Bose Remote RC38t1-27 not working at all. Changes batteries twice to no avail. Called Bose Tech support who walked me through the fix. I unplugged the power cord connected in the back of the system. Waited for 30 seconds or so and plugged it back into the system. Also made sure the power cord was uncoiled/unbundled as the RF (Radio Frequency) signal is within. Bingo!

I purchased a LAZBOY universal remote (at Fred Meyers, on sale for $9.99) and after a bunch of research and trial-&-error, was able
program it with a code (1629) which works reasonably well with the
Bose 3-2-1.
I don't have all the system-level functions (which I never utilized anyway) but do have all the basics as far as power, volume, source, and CD/DVD control.

Replace the batteries from the remote control. Press and hold the TV button on remote for 5 seconds. If the red light shines bright, your remote is OK since it is showing it's programmable side. If unit still won't go on using the remote, reboot the whole system by unplugging the power cord and other wire from the Subwoofer. Wait one minute, then replug all and see if the system displays BOSE 321 in front when re-connected. If so, try the remote and if that doesn't work, your dead, the Infra red communication device from the unit to the remote is busted inside the unit and needs to be returned to the company like mine!!!!!
