WAHES OK BUT MAKES A GRINDING/GRATING NOISE WHEN SPINNING

Is it a grinding/grating noise?if so possibly bearings or if more of a whirring noise could be gearbox related...hope this is of some use.

bearings are dry and noise is metal on metal you can try to oil/lube the bearings --and or a blade is rubbing on case either loose blade or bearings worn causing offset wobble

check for the roller spider under the plate
small plastic item that has 3 (4) rollers that allows the plate to turn freely

I had exactly the same symptom...grinding noise only during high speed spin cycle.

I took the top and back panels off to see how the drain hoses etc. connected. Not wanting to take it apart further, I eventually just took the washing machine outside (I knew I was going to be dealing with water!), pulled the debris catcher front side bottom, and let rip with a garden hose inside the drum with the catcher out (leaving an open drain that could flow unimpeded).

Water flowed quickly out of the open drain, and lo and behold, a small drill bit came out with the water flow. This bit, presumably had gotten through the drum grating, and was resting on the bottom of the housing, scraping and grinding when the drum was spinning.

looks like there is some friction between the main and outer tub of your machine. there is generally a mechanism for smooth spinning of the machine in good rpms for wash-spin cycle. this could be because of rust formation, or mud collection. please refer your manual and remove the 3 screws behind the lower front plastic cover, and look for rust formation. scrape the rust and try spinning again.
