CE usually stands for clear Entry. It clears what you entered before pressing the = or EXE key.
The only number you can zero out (as you say) is zero itself. The others, you can just erase them. Press the AC (Clear all) or a reset button to clear what is stored in variables.

Turn the calcultor over. Under the plastic pad on the right (when calculator is returned) there is a reset button. Pull the pad away from calculator to remove it.
Thanks but that would be really cumbersome every time I want to clear all the numbers. I have figured out that if I press the * button twice it clears all stored numbers. Thanks

GT:- Grand Total: It shows the cumulative total of your calculations
MU:- Mark Up: It is used to calculate the CROSS PROFIT MARGIN in business environment.
MRC:- If pressed once, it shows the number stored in the memory. If pressed twice it clears the memory.
AC:- All Clear: It clears everything
CE:- Clear Entry: Clears the last entry of calculations.
ON/C: If the calculator is off, it turns it on. If the calculator is on it clears all entries.
