We have had and Olevia LCD Syntax TV for a couple years with Direct TV with no problems at all. About 3 months ago we upgraded to HDTV Direct TV which meant getting new dish, new box, etc. We had our TV guy do the installation, after that we would be watching TV and all of a sudden screen would go black but audio was still on. Turning it off and on sometimes gets the video back. First we thought it was the new Direct TV box so we are on our 3rd box and now problem is worse than ever. I see that a number of people have this problem but the answers involve schematics and soddering which is scary. Obviously something happened when the HDTV box and direct TV was hooked up and we are wondering if there is some handshake issue with TV and the box? The TV guy does not seem to have any idea what it could be. We are on verge of buying new TV. I have called Olevia, they were no help at all, Help!!!! Thank you

Well this sounds odd but try heating up the room the tv is in and it will turn on when my tv is cold just audio till the room hits 65 degrees. Odd but true.
