Replace your Invensys U-67204-8 0+4 Module: http://www.toolbox.invensyscontrols.com/appliance/linkedElements/ElectronicSparkIgnition_SparkReignition.pdfwith a Tytronics 4 Point Re-ignitor #RI 120E-4: http://www.tytronics.com.au/__files/f/2792/4 Point Re-Igniter.pdf which has replaced the older Invensys Module on BlueStar Ranges like the RNB304BV1 - 4 Burner Range (also used in some Viking Ranges): http://bluestar-store.mwrc.net/en/product.php?product_id=40478 Call Prizer-Painter 800-449-8691 for instructions if not sure how to do this. Also, may want to do some cleaning first overall on the Burners and the Igniters - BlueStar Part #741801: http://bluestar-store.mwrc.net/en/product.php?product_id=37702 or replace if broken: http://www.bluestarcooking.com/bluestar-service-videos.html#

Jenn-Air CG206B. All ignitors don't spark or click. How would I know if it is the Spark Module or the Spark Ignition Switch. And cost if possible for parts and labor. Thank you.

one thing to be sure is there power to the range. if you can light the burner with a match your gas is good, If all burners are affected it can be a broken wire, power source, or spark module.

Frequently the ignitors on our Five Star stove model #TTN033 start sparking spontaneously. The only way to stop them is to turn off the circuit breaker to the stove. Thank you Philip D. Manfredi,...

You may have a bad microswitch on one of the controls. It only takes one to be bad to cause this. Another possibility is a pinched or melted wire from one of the control microswitches to the ignitor module.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. There are a few things to check for. Make sure the electrode (the small metal piece that the spark comes off from) is clean and the holes in the burner are clean, use a pin or paper clip to clean out the burner holes and not a tooth pick as these can break off and make things worse. Example of a burner. The next thing to check for are the ignition switches under the surface control knobs, the switches can twist and break and keep the spark module on and the spark keeps "clicking" even when the burner is light. If every thing looks good, you may have a bad spark module, replace it.
The switches or the range control knobs may have got wet and are completing the circuit to the spark module thus causing it to continuously click or fire off sparks continuously. Use your hair/blow dryer and blow some hot air around the spark module area.

This is a typical spark module wire diagram--

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Burners not lighting

I had the same issue and replaced the spark module myself, lots of wires and you have to make sure to label them before removal to be able to hook them back up correctly. To get to the module you need to unscrew all burners, no need to take the cover plate under the knobs. Burners remove by unscrewing center, brass nut. OEM spark module is VIKING RANGE #PA020021 U-67205-21. Go
od Luck
