Sould I replace the venting duct. Where can I get it?
I was having some difficulties with my dryer as well. I ended up just having to replace my duct. Maybe that is the same situation you are in. I hope you are able to get it all figured out. http://www.wildmandryerventpro.net/services.html
In answer to your question, if you can replace the duct with hard, straight duct, do it. Flex duct has alot of restriction to it and easily collects lint which inhibits air flow, thus, long drying times. But before doing that, I would be sure that all the elements were working.
You can 3" and 4" duct from Home Depot or Lowes. Pretty common stuff. I did mine and that is where I got it. Cut my drying time in more than half.
Good Luck and hope this helps.
