log-in to your router,go to access restrictions....status..click enable....click on Edit List of PCs......enter your son MAC address or his IP address.....save settings.....and after that you just have to set the days and hours when he could go on-line

K, i hv a solution for u, first u need to download afudos utility from http://www.ami.com/support/downloadagreement.cfm?DLFile=support/downloads/amiflash.zip&InpDrvID=90. And then go to DOS mode, n type command like,
D:\...........\afudos /mxxxxxxxxxxxx
There is /m is the command n 12 times x is ur mac ID. N u can find ur MAC on some were on ur MB.
I think this will fix ur problem.

The MAC address is burned in the Ethernet card chip, you won't see it in the Bios or if you do you can't change it. MAC address changer are tweaks to not being tracked.

The solution to know if the card is blown is to do a complete reinstall of your operating system and if then you can't connect whit it, it is indeed dead. Then Disable it in the Bios and had a PCI one to replace it.

Those kind of problem whit network cards happens a lot when you get a power outage, if you had one in the last couple of days your problem is most likely it.
