Hyundai sonata xm radio now saying antenna when turned on

Have had my Sonata for 1 year, the trial subscription has run out and I just bought a new subscription. After paying, went to car to activate on channel 1 preview and it just says antenna. The technical support at XM radio said that my antenna is broken and will have to see the dealer. The radio was working, how would it break and what can be done to fix it?

XM Radio in 2008 Hyundai Sonata sounds bad

Same problem here. I repeatedly complained to XM but got no reply. I listen to XM in 2009 Sonata and it was just as bad.

XM is better than AM. Much worse than FM.

How do I connect an mp3 to my 2008 sonata?

The 2008 Sonata does not come equipped to plug in a separate MP3 player. The MP3 on the face of the radio/CD player refers to the fact that the CD player will play MP3 files. If you want to play from a separate player, you will have to add an FM modulator or something similar.
