SOURCE: Mitsubishi WS-65313 65 in. TV will no longer power up.

You should call a good TV Tech. This problem cannot be solved by a consumer. The one thing you might try is to unplug it from the wall for a few minutes and then try it again.

SOURCE: TV will not come on

The flashing LED may be telling you the source of the problem; note the relative spacing of the flashes and the number of times it flashes before staying off. The set is trying to tell you where it is sick but I suspect it is related to the power supply; the most common failure point of most modern sets. If you post back here as a 'comment' you won't have to repeat your symptoms.

Green light bulb that projects light to my screen I believe is leaking and shuts down the tv after 20 minutes

That is not a light bulb. That is a Cathode Ray tube. You are leaking tube coolant and that means the seals on all 3 cathode ray tubes are going bad. This is something that can be repaired but you need a qualified tech to do so or the TV can be easily ruined.

I TOOK APART THE TV TO MOVE IT DOWNSTAIRS AND it worked great for 10 minutes and then shut down. I have the code and it is green and 2 and 2

That is called the "Parpadeo luz verde de la muerte" or Blinking green light of death. You may want to make sure all the wires are tight first and that when you moved it a cable wasn't seated. Instead of replacing the capacitors, your situation sounds more like bad solder connections on the DM module. Here is a link to a web forum where they talk about this exact problem.http://www.highdefforum.com/rear-projection-tvs/58189-blinking-green-light-death-frequent-prob-w-mitsubishi-rear-proj-widescreens.html Blinking Green Light of ***** frequent prob Mitsubishi rear proj...

My Mitsubishi Medallion tv stays on for about 10 minutes and then shuts down and won't turn back on until a period of time has passed. It is a rear projection tv about 9 years old. Can anyone help ex

When it shuts off and the green power light goes off, press both the menu and input buttons on the front of the set (not the remote) and hold both for about five seconds and release.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks and then 3 blinks and repeat it several times.

What is the error code?

I have a mitsubishi TV model WS-73411 , a month ago it shut off while I was watching it. Since then it has been shuting off more and more as time goes by. It shuts off an average of 4-5 times at nite...

The next time it shuts down (I presume the green power light goes off) do the self check this model has, on front of set press and hold both the menu and input buttons for at least five seconds and release both.

Power light will blink a 2 digit error code like : 1 blink, 2 blink and repeat it several times.

1,2 is no error detected but there are other codes.

Let me know what you find.

Have a Mitsubishi 55 rear projection WS55511

NEXT TIME IT SHUTS DOWN: when green light goes out on THE FRONT OF THE SET: press and hold BOTH the menu and input buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds and then release.

This is the self check this model has---power light should blink a two digit code---for example--two blinks, a pause and two blinks and the set will repeat the error code about 10 times.

1 blink and then 2 blinks is NO ERROR DETECTED
2 blink and then 2 blinks is short protect

ETC.....Let me know if you get an error code and I will tell you what the problem is---hope you find 2,2 that is the most common and the most easy to repair.

Projection TV keeps shutting down

I just took my Mitsubishi WS-65315 65" in to be repaired for the same problem and was told that it needed a new main circuit board part number 930b899005 as was told they wanted to charge me $1100.00. So I told them not to do the repair and picked up my tv and found that same part at Sears parts for only $225.00. Some of these TV repair places are theifs.
