Hi, the screens do go, however it sometimes comes back if you unplug the handset from the wall socket, then plug back in. Your maintenace supplier will tell you if you are covered for a new handset. If not new handsets are available at;

It means that your handset is Network or Operator Locked and you are trying to use it with a different SIM ... which requires an 'unlock security code' (which can be requested from the original handset and network supplier for a fee but sometimes free if out of contract).
Pick up the handset from the base. Press and hold [find handset] on the base.
While holding [find handset], place the handset in the base. The charge/in use LED on the base begins to flash, indicating the base is registering the handset. Wait for at least five seconds.

I think that your remots sencer is broken that is what happend to mine when i played 2 player too long gust try to buy new remotes or it is your sencer bar so try one of them
