I recently got myself a new PC but unfortuneately when I get to the Gigabyte Logo screen I'm stuck because the keyboard isn't working. I can't install windows or do anything, not even get to the bios since it's after the logo/splash screen for gigabyte.
I've tried 3 keyboards now (2 PS2's and 1 USB) and none work.
My system:
Vantec Ion2 600 PSU
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P
I'm really pulling my hair out on this one! I can't even begin to imagine what could cause this, but I think if nothing works I'll have to order a new motherboard (different brand). If you could help it would be great, thanks in advance,
Sam.
Do you have a start key on your keyboard between the left Crtl and Alt key with the windows logo on it? It could be you are accidently pressing that key. If you are not, try a new keyboard if the start key is not stuck.

You dont have any RMA options? (to return to the seller) have you tried resetting the bios, either by removing the cmos battery or by removing the jumper (j21) Also if using a usb keyboard try finding a usb to ps/2 adapeter or if using a ps/2 style try a sub keyboard.
