1) Install the psadmin software if you have not already. If you have lost the psadmin software then search for it on the web. 2) Start the psadmin software and click "factory reset". 3) If the software demands a password, try "SYSxxxx", where xxxx stands for the last four digits of the MAC address located on the underside of your server. (Example: if your MAC address were "63 XE 29 44 F2 96", then your password would be SYSF296.) 4) Click yes to confirm the reset.

On the back of the print server you will find a pin hole, insert a paper clip for 30 secs with the print server powered on. All lights will flash. Try to setup the server again.

By default the DP 301P+ does not come with a password. If there is one installed (and you don't know what it is), you can reset the device to factory defaults from the Tools menu in the web configuration utility. Be aware that you will lose all settings in the print server when you do this.
Unfortunately, D-Link doesn't provide a way to reset the password if you lose it. This is from their website:

You may use the PSAdmin software to configure your print server even if you don't know the IP address. The only requirement is that the DP-300U has to be in the same network (subnet) as your PC running PSAdmin. In the PSAdmin, you will then be able to view or change the IP address.
To paraphrase,
First try logging in with the following
username: psadmin
password: SYSXXXX
(where XXXX is the last four digits of the mac address)
If it works, you can proceed to reset the password.
