I purchased a Patton recirculating utility heaterPUH4842M-RHM from Home Depot on
Sept. 15,2013. tried it, liked it, but I want more information, i.e., customer ratings,
potential problems. I tried looking on line and couldn't find anything for this model.

Hello Mr Johnson. I will help. I am timer expert at fixya. Fixya answers question. We are not home depot or warranty carrier for grunfos. Here are some ideas: 1) Buy another pump at home depot and return defect in new package 2) Talk to manager at Home Depot. 3) Check if outlet has power. Plug recirc pump into different outlet. 4) Check if override lever is set to OFF, because pump will not run when lever is in OFF position: Here is photo I took showing positions for lever: http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-recirculation-system.html#lever 5) These devices are prone to surge event. Nearby lightning strike can burn out any electrical device by energizing wires. The surge can follow any path seemingly random trying to find path down to ground. Add a comment and say what happens. It looks like you can purchase a motor here.
Make sure you have the correct data from your motor.
There is also a contact button so you can probably call, too.
If you can not find the exact parts, you can pick up a generic rubber foot from the Home Depot or even at Radio Shack.
They will most likely have a self adhesive on them, but you may want to also add some electrical tape to keep them in place.
