Most electronic keyboards will have a fuse. If it is not on the rear pannel, it will be inside on the power supply board.

It could be a fuse if you are lucky. It could also be a protection diode. You need to open it up and see. If you are unsure of how to do this, you should take it to a repair shop.

You bought the wrong model - e.g. Yamaha models work reverse.

The keyboard has a mic jack that is the same size as the headphones. You probably put the headphone plug into the wrong jack is all.

You may need to install the drivers to give the computer to fully recognize the keyboard. The computer may see the keyboard, but isn't recogning it fully due to the lack of drivers.
