How to solve this problem in zebra zm400 error condition paper out \

please check if you fit the paper and ribbon at correct place (under the crome plate and between the printheard and white roller.

there is a possibility that you need to just the print head assembly, if when its at close position, the print head is far from the sensor.

With the print head is open, you will see 3 screw on the left, louse them and adjust all the print head mechanism, up and down some milliliters tie the screws again, close the printhead , try again and see if errors desapeer

i hadthe same issue with all my zm400's, but not my zm4 plus's. zebra gives you the run around when contact their technical support.
I tried every setting there was, ended up get rid of the zm400's, they are a piece of C#@P

you have paper jam blow out with air in can.

Already try reset the printer to factory defult? ( turn off, press pause and cancel button at the same time and turn on, wait 5 secounds and relese the buttons.

Replace the ribbon ...

this is usually caused by a pressure imbalance across the printhead. Check the printhead pressure adjust dials located on top of the printhead. You might find that the left side has more down pressure than the right side causing the ribbon to move to the right.

Yu can rotate the print orientation in the Z Designer printer driver, in the OPTIONS tag tick the 180Deg box

In the printer setting-

Change the Print Method from - "Tharmal Transfer to Direct Thermal" and save it permanently
