this is caused by some kind of electrical interference. this can be caused by cd players,speakers, etc being too close to the tube. after you find the culprit and remove or move, unplug tv for about 10 mins, then plug back in

i turned on my tv and it blinks green continuesly. it wont turn off to red light. i unpluged it for 30 min. repluged it and green light comes on and wont stop blinking
You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..
Check the lamp door (with green on) ,.. both green and red blink - bad lamp. Green off, red blinks..Try unpluging for 2 minutes and retry - if no different (sorry, call a service person).
