If the courtesy lights on the motor unit aren't turning on, there may be no power getting to the machine, or there may be a fault in the control board. If the opener is getting mains power, I would suggest calling a Hormann dealer.

SOURCE: Garage Door only opens with wall unitq

The unit is in the lock mode, push and hold the lock button in for about two seconds and the green LED should stop flashing. Your remotes should work.

SOURCE: My garage door opener won't close the garage door.

Most likely your door sensors have been bumped and are not aligned properly. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not blinking.

Garage door opener not working

Sensor must show steady light to close circuit and let opener work. If aligned, then there is a loose or broken wire. Try reaiming first to get steady light. Then check all wires . Another way to test and prove that is the issue is if u hold down the wired button at ur back door and the opener closes, then it is sensor issue. Good luck.

My garage door opens fine, just wont close with remotes. Lights just flash. I have to use the opener in garage and keep the button pressed in till the door is fully closed or it will reverse.

Clean both safety sensors lens located at the bottom of the garage door frame. Make sure both sensors led lights are lit. If not they are out of alignment and you will have to loosen the wing nut on the sensor that is lit and move it, trying to get the other sensor to light.

Green light flashing 4 times, sencors lights on,press & hold wall button to open.others wont work

The green light flashing 4 times is sending the code for " Safety reversing sensorsslightly misaligned (dim or flashing LED)". These are the sensors in the doorway. Tweak them a bit.

Garage door wont close unless you hold button in

Check to see if one of your door sensors has been bumped. They must be pointed at one another to work and if they are aligned properly a small light will be lit on each one. If you cannot get both lights to come on you probably have a bad sensor.

Replaced door sensors now door will not go down and light flashes

The safety eyes are either installed wrong, or you have the wrong type. Craftsman (liftmaster) has what they they call old style and new style safety eyes. You can not interchange the types.
