it goes up to 31... while u are in the music section, tap 'vol'... this should cause your the red 'vol' on the screen to start blinking... while its blinking tap '<< to volume down, and tap >>' to volume up.... when its where u want it, tap vol again to stop it from blinking...

Kenwood kr-v6030 master volume wont go down

To zyclon3, I've got a KR-V6030 that the volume knob some how got broke and had to take the receiver apart and get the knob out and play with it with the remote untill I got control. but I have to becareful cause it will go full blast if I'm not carefull going down in volume have to be especialy carefull since theres no stop.

It could be a hardware fault or profile settings.

If you check your profile settings, by going to profile, scroll to the bottom of the submenu and select advanced.

In the next menu - select your active profile and the edit option

Then select one of the features such as phone, you would previously have associated with loud tone and check both out of and in holster settings for volume.

Loud boom when going in standby mode.

i would check your sub connection also make sure the volume isnt set to high. sometimes unplugging the power and cables also helps

Actually there is a way. If you re-encode the file using an mp3 conversion utility, you can adjust the volume there
