I have a Husqvarna 128LD and love it. When using a tiller attachment the part of the shaft that has the knob comes loose. I have tightened the screw with allen wrench but it still comes off. or gets loose. Can I weld the bracket to the shaft?

How to change the fuel lines in the 128 Ld Husqvarna Trimmer

Buy some new fuel line then put the line in from the motor side into the tank and feed up and through the opening on the tank. Then you can put on a new filter with a tiny clamp then put it back into the tank making sure the filter is resting on the bottom.

Why does Flexshaft get hot after a couple seconds

Perhaps you are bending the shaft too much, or the original lube in the flex shaft has been compromised. Take it back to the dealer, for an exchange.

Trimmer runs great but head does not turn when it makes contact

Nine times out of ten this problem is caused by one of two reasons. The engine has vibrated the screws lose and allowed the top of the flexshaft to move out of its square or the flexshaft has twisted in two. If screws are lose shove the flexshaft back into place and tighten the screws down, and if it becomes habit with your trimmer, put some locktight on the screws. If it is the flexshaft that has twisted in two you will have to replace it.

Bottom of shaft is getting red hot

Have you greased your shaft lately? It is necessary to put grease inside the shaft from time to time. Remove the engine of the trimmer, pull the flexshaft or rod (which ever it has) out of the shaft and while slowly reinserting the flexshaft squeeze "oo" grease or any type thick grease into the shaft and on the end of the flexshaft. Reassemble engine and you should be good to go.
