Just make sure that the printer driver is installed on your notebook. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X6650 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

Here's what you can do:

• If this is your first time to install the printer on your computer and if you have the Lexmark installation disc that came with your printer, just insert the disc into the computer hard drive and execute the application. • If the printer software is already installed on your computer, go to Start (for Windows) menu > Programs > Lexmark 5600-6600 Series > Wireless Setup Utility. Follow the instructions on your computer.

The Lexmark OCR Abbyy scan software is available only on the installation disc that came with your Lexmark printer. If you don't have the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

If you have tried installing the printer driver for 32-bit on your computer, you might want to uninstall it first before installing the Lexmark X6650 driver for 64-bit. Go to Start menu -> Programs -> Lexmark X6600 Series -> Tools -> Uninstall. Reboot pc when prompted.
