I put iPod shuffle on the charger it flashes 3 times an orange light for about 5 seconds and stops. My computer doesnt show that its connected and i cant turn my ipod on.
Your ipod is fine...you just have to get another charger

The ipod gets plugged into my usb port flashes for 5 to 10 seconds then stops and will not charge
Actually i've formatted my ipod,so i think i've lost the supporting files from the device so please suggest any solution or steps that i,ve to take so that i can listen to music on my ipod.
Having exactly the same problem with sidlav....just bought it recently, working fine but one day i try to charge it because it was out of batt then orange light turns on for bout 6 secs and then flashes 3 times and my comp says the usb devices attached to this comp has malfuntioned and windows does not recognise it. Im using windows xp.....if anyone can help with the problem.......much appreciated...

when i connect my ipod to pc,it is working correctly but when i start itunes it doesnt sync,and in my computer,ipod is not showing and when i open the safely remove hardware option,the ipod device says"no drivers are installed for this device" please please help me................
