NEED HELP TO REPLACE WIRES ON CAPACITOR ON GE ROOM AIR CONDITIONER 8000 BTU

with capacitors it doesn't matter which wire goes on which terminal
if it has just 2 terminals then a wire on each
if it has 4 terminals then one wire on one set and the other wire on the other set
A set is two terminals side by side
However if you are still undecided , get an electrician to fit the wires.

Unit acts like a ghost has taken over the controls. Sleep timer frequently flashes rapidly on and then off many times within a few seconds .... beeping loudly each time. Also, the desired temp eventually...

Sometimes the button boards will get worn or malfunction. Nearby lightning strikes make electronics flaky sometimes. But start with the button board. www.searspartsdirect.com

Sole treadmill won't go in to sleep mode

You need to go into the maintenance menu.

Take out the red safety stop key, hold down the "start", "stop" and "Enter" buttons, keep holding them down while putting the red key back in (a bit tricky), keep holding the keys down until you see "Maintenance menu" scrolling (this will happen as long as you didn't let go of the three keys).

Initially when you put the red key in it'll might show software version etc, after a few seconds it'll change to maintenance menu. Use the speed UP and Down buttons on the console or arm to scroll through menu until you reach "FUNCTIONS" press enter.

In the functions sub-menu, depending on what year model/software version it has, it should have a selection called "Sleep Timer" if so set it using up down keys to "ON". If your model doesn't have "sleep timer" listed (i.e. a newer model) it's now just called "DISPLAY" and in that case set it to "OFF". That should fix it.

Press Stop, to go back. If you want you can disable the key tone/training beeping as well in the "functions" sub-menu of the "maintenance menu".

To exit press stop repeatedly until you're back to the normal display.
