HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo

My HP OfficeJet 7310 / Windows 7 / Office 2007 prints only the top two inches of all Excel files created on my old XP computer. Everything else prints fine. The Excel files print fine to other printers. If I copy the contents of the spreadsheet and paste into a blank Excel sheet, the new sheet prints fine.

SOURCE: Crooked Excel Spreadsheet

I also had this problem, through trial and error I found that if you go into File, Page setup in excel then the Page tab, make sure the print quality is set to 600 dpi. Once I did that it printed correctly.

I lost my installation cd HP officejet J3608, want to install it to my other CPU..

You need to download the drivers for your HP Office Jet 7310 Go to this link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=391182

When you get there, Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the HP Officejet and Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

I cannot open .docx and xlsx files.

The files extensions you have listed, .docx and .xlsx, are files that have been created using the Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 suite of programs. Specifically .docx is a Microsoft Word document, and .xlsx is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You will have to have either of the Microsoft Office programs mentioned, or you can also use the Open Office suite of programs. This is a free program that you can download at the following website:

Printing problems with HP officejet 7310

You actually have to get the HP drivers uninstalled and then go through the registry to delete all instances of HP and then reinstall drivers ,making sure you have the drivers for Vista and not XP. For going through the registry you must know what you are doing. I can assist.
