Workforce 630 paper jam

I bought an Epson printer workforce 630, in installed it according to the manual. after I turned it on, a message appears in the screen. " paper feed error or jam, remove the paper and reload paper correctly". I did so many times it doesn't work. I tried unplugging the printer for a few seconds and it keeps saying the same. I checked if there was an object or something obstructing in the printer and there is nothing. this is the first time I try to use it.

Epson Workforce 630 has two paper loading areas. One at the bottom and one at the top, back of printer. Make sure you set the printer to correct paper source, or just make sure paper is loaded in both trays to see if it starts taking paper in either one.

SOURCE: hp psc 1315 paper jam

Hi,

. Switch off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Allow any residual charge inside the all-in-one printer to dissipate before putting your hands or any metal tools inside the chassis.

2.
Pin down the exact location of the jam. The 3 hot spots for a jam are before a sheet completely leaves the paper tray, anywhere between the feed tray and print carriage or between the print carriage and output tray.

3.
Take off the front paper tray if the sheet jammed while still in the front area of the printer. If here, you should be able to see most of the paper.

4.
Pull the sheet with both hands and steady pressure. Do not tug as you might rip the paper, leaving a piece deeper inside the machine.

5.
Open the back panel to reach paper jammed between the feed-tray area and print carriage. Carefully remove the jammed paper.

6.
Use the carriage access door to get at a jam further inside the printer. You may need to remove the print carriage to get to the jam.

7.
Replace all parts and return any access panels to their closed and locked positions. Plug your printer back in and flip the power switch.

SOURCE: Epson Workforce 500 paper out...still thinks it's jammed

Couldn't fix the problem, but the Epson people have agreed to send us a new unit when the tech supprt people couldn't provide a solution. We are to send the old one back. I'm glad this happened while the printer was still under warranty. Hope this doesn't happen to someone else, but we're pleased with Epson's reponse.

SOURCE: Epson RX595 says "Error-paper jam" but no paper in printer!!!

I got my printer to work (finally! #$^%$%) by moving the ink carriage back and forth a bit gently and then I sprayed a small amount of WD40 on a lint free small cloth and wiped the silver bar inside with it. I slid the carriage slowly from one side to the left and it seemed to stick less. I thought my printer was broken so I figured it couldn't do any more harm and lo and behold it worked! My printer went back to the normal screen after turning it back on and I am finishing the print job that I never thought would happen. YAY!

SOURCE: I have an Epson SX425W

After 5-6 days of this issue really **** me off, ive found the problem.Lift up the scanner lid, move the printer heads/cartridge holder to the left. Look at the white and black printer head thing down there in the gap, it is not sitting correctly in its position, use a small screw driver or pen to re-sit this thing. It should sit nice and snug rather than all wobbly like mine was. Just a small push or poke should do the job. Email me at [email protected] should you require further assistance.

After un-jamming my Epson WorkForce 600 printer Model C363A, it still always says it is jammed. It also now makes a noisy clicking sound when turned on.

There is a good chance that you have dislodged one of the paper feed sensor arms. These are lightly sprung and can be popped out of their mountings creating further jams and registering continuous paper jams when there is nothing in the paper path. Also it is worth checking to see if any sheets came out ripped or with a segment torn off. These often catch on the paper sensor and can be difficult to see. Try feeding a sheet of reasonably stiff paper back through the tractor roller as this often pushes such obstructions back out of the way.

How do I print on 11 x 14 paper? According to the online manual, the Epson WF - 7620 does print 11 x 14. And that is why I bought the printer, but I cannot figure it out!

Load A3 size paper on the lower tray.
Verify you see A3 as an option in paper setuo on the printer screen against tray 2.
Make sure you have selected A3 on the software before you print.

My workforce WF-3540 displays "PAPER JAM". I can find no jam

This sounds weird but I will post it since is solved this problem for me. Despite following all the instructions I could not get rid of the "paper jam" message on my WF3540 . In desperation I tried changing the yellow ink cartridge (which was low) and after the printer went through all its "new cartridge" routine - lo and behold the paper jam message was gone and the printer worked!

Got the following error on my Epson Workforce 630 after I had an ink leak inside my printer: Printer Error. Turn power off and then on again. For details, see your documentation or visit Epson.com. It is...

Michelle arak I sort of did what u did on my 630. But I sprayed alcohol water on that sponge block and then put the printer on the sink and used the faucet gun and poured trickle of water on it for a little while til most of the ink came out the bottom. I removed that paper jam tray in the back first. Then I sprayed the alcohol water inside the ink carriage on the little plastic jet tips that the ink goes onto. Then shook it out. Upside too. Got paper towel and dried as much as I could. Plugged it in and voila, it works great.

Epson workforce 600 continue to get paper jam error and there is no paper jam..

If this message appears when you turn the printer on it will need a repair, this will be down to a sensor fault.
If this message appears when you try to print Check you are using the correct paper type and size settings, on the printer if being used standalone or via the printer driver if using via a computer.
Also try using a different paper type and brand ideally Epson paper as it is an Epson printer. If the fault continues the printer will need a service.
As this printer was released this year you should be covered by some form of warranty, contact Epson for a service.
