I am unable to access videos on the NOVA website. after trying many fixes I searched the website and found that they don't seem to support my browser ( Internet Explorer). Can this be the cause as I am able to acess all other parts of thier website with no issues. One of the Browsers they suppoet is Firefox 3.5. Should I change to this browser and what are the consequences. Thanks...

XP or Vista ?
Go to Network - Properties - the network card. Make sure you have "Get network address automatically"
DOS box type ipconfig /all what's it say.
There are viruses that can kill TCP/IP
Get a copy of LSPfix It will check your TCP/IP programs.
I did have one XP machine that lost it's network setting, could never get it running without a reinstall.
If Linyx works, it's not the card.

You may have a corrupt/deleted file and want to Restore/Reload your windows. The windows program is usually stored/hidden on the harddrive in another directory. Easiest way is to use Control Panel and something like System Maint to reload the Windows. Drawback is that the system will be the same as when first removed from the box, and you'll have to reload any programs, printers and such. If you have any files you want to save, you should back it up on an external source. Then go back and reload and reconfigure your computer.

the way i fixed it was to switch to google chrome
make sure u have ie turned off as default browser
