SOURCE: camera freezes when using aperture and speed

Try updating the firmware. The update does not specificly mention this problem, but maybe it will help anyway.
You can download it from here:
http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/#firmware

Make sure your batteries are fresh before updating.

1. Camera won't record photos. Make sure you've selected a photography mode with your camera, rather than a playback mode or a video mode. If your camera's battery power is low, the camera might not be able to record photos.
Additionally, if your camera's internal memory area or your Memory card is full, the camera won't record any more photos.
With some cameras, the internal software only allows a certain number of photos to be recorded on a single memory card because of how the software numbers each photo. Once the camera hits its limit, it won't save any more photos. (This problem is more likely to occur when an older camera is paired with a new, large memory card.)
The battery is the root of most common digital camera issues. Though battery life has been extended as battery and digital camera technologies evolve, no battery lasts forever. When your batteries begin to run out, sometimes your camera responds in wacky ways that may not seem connected. The flash may not come on, the autofocus won't engage as quickly as it did before or the LCD screen will power off intermittently. All of your camera's responsiveness is linked to its battery strength. Change batteries and try to recreate a problem; odds are you won't be able to. It's a good idea to carry a backup battery for cameras that use lithium-ion cells or a pack of spares for cameras that use AA. Watch your battery icon for a general idea of

My camera wont turn on, after downloading photos, there is a green light stuck on left off the zoom any ideas?

Try removing the camera battery. Then hold the "start" button down for about 1 minute. (This may do a reset and restore defaults) Then replace battery, cross your fingers and try again. It worked for me!

Error Message

Try to take off the battery and reset the camera. You can also try to remove the lens and check the mirror opening..see if there is some thing stuck there. You can try to click the shutter while the lens is removed. If this procedure didn't work I suggest calling Nikon for further repairs.

HELP 350d still not turning on/screen not working

Hmmm... doesn't sound too good does it? Have you tried another CF card? I know you said it doesn't work even without a card but...

Also one last thing to try is to tkae out both batteries, the main one and the slim watch style backup battery that sits right next to the main one under the cover labelled CR2016. Leave them both out for an hour and see what happens. NOTE this will probably reset your camera to factory defaults and may reset the photo numbering counter back to zero. Worth a try?

Check the mode selection switch. It should be adjusted in the mode you desire to work. Also click the shot button and keep it pressed for about 2 seconds. If still not working properly then switch off the Camera and remove the battery and replace it after about 2 to 3 minutes and then try again.

Camera freezes in any picture taking mode

Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. you need professional service to fix it.
