My frontloader occassionally when filling will beep and flash up an E90. It continues to fill but all the water leaks from under the front of the machine. Have had a repairer look at it but as it only does this intermitantly it was fine when he came and he was not familiar with the E90 message. The first time it did it we discovered the small drain hose near the filter had come loose under the machine but the next time this seemed to be still in place. My frontloader occassionally when filling will beep and flash up an E90. Yes the beeping is very annoying, i don't understand why our Front loader EWF1087 stopped several times. Today it stopped 4 times from it's 1 hour set time. Trying to figure out what to do. I turn the loader off and then turn it on again and push the button start. I finish my washing for 2 hours.

I found out the hard way that it's because the drain is blocked. Check the filter and even get a torch to look to make sure there is no coin or piece of wire jamming the pump.
Hi There, for E90 error we dried all the plugs with fan heater and it worked we followed someone's solution of using hair drier.so we wants to share with others. Chirag

Family error code E60 is visible to customers and (could be E61,E62,E66,E68 and E69 only visible in service mode) means problem with heating phase.
Possible failures : heating element faulty, NTC sensor faulty, PCB faulty, wiring.
The E90 error code is not a specific code. The error code E90 is just a group error code. It is indicating a communication error between the two boards in your machine. It does not indicate where the problem may be. A power glitch may have caused the E90 error code or a loose connection. One of the control boards could have failed. If it did not clear by unplugging the washer, I recommend a technician come out to properly diagnose your washer
Error 90 is a common fault code in domestics within the Electrolux, Zanussi, AEG range. It's a wiring fault /connection normally between the printed cicuit board and wires. switch off power, remove lid, pull off each connector on board checking for clip holding the connector in place, one at a time, look for arcing marks, rub pins gently with clean cloth, tensinsion up clips in connector(delicately) and refit. having done this, test again with a wet load on spin, then a wash programme. Before dispairing check the motor coonnections.
