Hansgrohe 41533 wall mounted soap dish install

This model has a bracket that will mount to the wall using two screws and plastic anchors. Then the brush holder will snap into place on this bracket. There will be a hole in the bottom of the holder that will look like a set screw but this is only a push pin. It is spring activated and not threaded. To remove it you simply push up on this pin and pull the holer off the wall bracket. If you need further help feel free to contact Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. The hand shower and wall bar does not control temp. The valve in the wall would control the temperature of the water going to the shower. I would need to be able to identify the model number of the valve in the wall to be able to give accurate instructions on temperature adjustment. it is not available from Grohe but if you take it apart it is probably generic enough to be found at your local hardware store. assuming this the problem. it may just need to be tightened up a little. either way here is a link, w/an adobe file (specification sheet), regarding the specs about 1/3 down the page on the left. you can also purchase the soap dispenser here. hope this helps:)

I've found several different styles & manufactures of satin nickel bath hardware at Home Depot and Lowes. Soap dishes,towel rods,toilet paper holders and even matching toilet flush handles.

The site makes no mention of making available replacement parts. Suggest you contact the company directly to see if they would provide a replacement dish without the complete hardware package.

There are a couple of designs, one is surface mount and the other is recessed. Surface mount mounts with silicone (hard to imagine it would last) and the other installed similar to a tile, but using grout. The grout install gets a hole cut in the tiles, goop everything up with grout, and goosh it into the wall, clean same as you would when working with grout.

Both designs need support until the adhesive dries.

no there is not. it is designed the way it is.

liquid nails will do the job but you can also use clear silicone provided both surfaces are dry.
