I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my
comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3
universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack
universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your
xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad
if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai
was 11676. Take care...
You can buy a universal adapter from Best Buy or Radio Shack.
Here is a link to an Ebay seller that has the original, be advised I have never bought from them and cannot guarantee the reliability of the company.

Actually most programs are going hd which means they will be wide screen. which sometimes the tv may have an option under the menu where you can change the resolution of the screen. hope this helps
Your power supply is bad. This model came with a bad design. Your supply may have a green light on the black box, but it is putting out low voltage or amps. Replace it and you should be good to go.
you can get these on ebay i know the power supplys are as cheap as 34 dollars. But the remote you can look for there to but i havent been successful finding one for mine probley cause i dont know what it looks like cause i bought this tv as a demo so they did not have a remote. Hope this helps.
These power supplies are known to go bad. I just replaced mine. You can use a standard 12 volt DC 4 amp with positive tip. Confirm this on the back of your current power supply. You can find a replacement online or at Radio Shack. I happened to have an old power supply from my Comcast modem sitting around that worked fine.
This tv is kind of got a mind of its own the only time you can adjust it on mine is on cable that comes in stereo actually it usually switches by itsself after it reads the broadcasted sound. Hope this helps.
