The bottom green is flashing and not vision, and do not turn off

This is most likely the power inverter board in the monitor, especially the Dell 19". If it started taking longer and longer todisplay an image, and the power light is blinking on-and-off, that'smost likely the problem. You can confirm that it's actually the monitor and not your computeror the cable by plugging in another monitor if you have one to try. Ifit's under warranty, send it back, if not, there are inverter boardsfor many common models of LCD monitors2.gif that are replaceable. The boardcan run anywhere from $50 on up. Depending on how old your monitor is,and how much you've invested into it, you may find it better to justreplace it with a gently used one from ebay.

Monitor appears to be dying. It is taking longer

Hello,

If you can solder you should be able to repair the unit. The problem in most likely bad capacitors in the power supply. If you go to our web site at:
www.ccl-la.com/monitor_repair.htm we have pictures of what to look for and replace. Just open the monitor back and get to the power board, replace any that look like the pictures and you should be back going. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we do offer a repair service contact me at [email protected] if you want us to do thhe work.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

Monitor won't come on right away

Sounds like the CRT is starting to go bad cause its taking longer and longer for it to boot up. CRT's aren't available now so a new monitor would be the only option.

Long warm up time

It is most likely a monitor problem, unless your video card/ or computer is failing to boot in a timely manner. The only thing that would effect the monitor taking a while to turn on is if there is no output to be displayed. Easiest way to check is just connect another monitor if available. if yo have a non integrated video card, make sure its properly connected.

Monitor turns off and on for 20 seconds when turned on

All LCD monitors have capacitors in their power supplies that begin to age quickly, usually at the two mark. A pro should be able t fix this for @$55.00

Monitor takes up to and over an hour to boot up !

Sooner or later it will not work at all. Time to go shopping - not worth fixing. Go ebay for great prices on used/new units. eBayeBay
