I called Dyson and they walked me thru the process of making sure
nothing was blocking the airflow and suction. Everything seemed fine
(not blocked). We couldn't figure out anything on the phone and I was
still having the same problem.
Trying to figure out the
solution, I removed (entirely) the filter that you're supposed to clean
every 6 months and ran the vacuum (I cleaned this filter 2 months ago).
It worked! I cleaned the filter (again!) and let the vacuum run and it
seemed fine.
I can understand why they won't instruct you to
completely remove the filter but it would save a lot of time if they
just had you check ALL the options.
I hope this helps!

its either the power head is clogged up with debree or the belt is broken. if the belt is broken it wont wisp everything up. Take it to a shop to fix. DONT TRY TO FIX IT YOURSELF~!!! dysons are very expensive and arent made to just be taken apart

If there's no suction at the end of the wand, check at the end of the hose. If none here, then there's none at the powerhead, so it's not picking up either.
Check the hose. A clog at the tank port generally result in a clog in the hose as well. If none are visible, detach hose completely, hold one end up and drop a coin in. Lifting the hose should result in the coin falling through. Not doing so means a clog. You may be able to push it through with a broom handle. If that doesn't work, try holding the powerhead end of the hose to the tank port. Turn the vacuum on. This may provide enough suction to pull the clog through.
If not, and you have access to a shop vac or air pressure hose and generator, try blowing the clog out with one of these. Or you can buy an air mattress pump and try that.
