Problems connecting acer aspire 5810tzg to tv via hdmi

Acer Aspire 5315 doesn't come with an HDMI port. So, you have the following options:
1. Use a VGA Cable to connect the PC to TV if the TV has PC-Input facility
2. Use an S-Video cable to the TV's S-Video-in port if the TV has it

3. Use and S-Video to HDMI converter if the TV has HDMI port

for audio, you can use 3.5mm to RCA (Red/White) connector to connect to TV's audio-in port.

If you have a HDMI connection at both ends you should be getting HDMI audio on your TV from your laptop.

You can connect too your TV using the program on Windows. If you go to your control panel and click on Personalization. This will bring you to your appearence go to bottom of page and click on monitor settings. Once you are there you can select how you can see TV. Make sure you have the HDMI connected to bothe the computer and television.

As long as you have an HDMI port on each hardware, just insert the HDMI cable into the ports and it should work fine.

i had the same problem, you need to right click on the desktop when the hdmi lead is plugged in, go to personalize, tasks, option to connect to a projector or other external display, and connect external display only. the blu ray cant play on 2 screens at the same time. my only other problem is that on some blu ray discs, i get as far as the title screen and then cant press play in any way, can anyone help???

Do you also have a computer monitor attached to the computer when attempting to use the HDMI?

go into control pannel and acer hd set it there and also in sound, a wee bit of trial and error but its there. mine was the same, it cost me ouch on the phone! good luck mine works ok

You cannot connect your acer aspire one via HDMI as its not having HDMI port. But you can connect via VGA cable and most of the TV supporting HDMI will also definitely support VGA input.
