Keypad has locked up on my vg3 Motorola...............the only button working is the off/on button

Press and hold the Menu button (the center section with the + and - buttons to the sides) until you hear a beep (3 seconds or so). After that, when you press and release the Menu button, the Channel number should flash indicating that you can change the channel. In the future, you can toggle the keypad lock by pressing and holding the Menu button.

I hope this helps. I usually use my Motorola Talkabout radios with the keypad lock active. I hit the various button accidentally when working in the field.

maybe the keypad system of your phone is not working.. you must visit the Motorola service center for that problem..

please unplug the old keypad and get the new key pad

my phone sometimes does this. all i have to do is turn it off and it is usually fixed istantly

To Lock your phone
Hold down the # symbol on your phone until it says: "Phone Keypad is now Locked"

To Unlock your phone
The screen should now read in the bottom right hand corner "Unlock". press the corresponding key. It then asks "Unlock Keypad?" "Yes" or "No". Select Yes and press Menu button (also the play/pause button).

unlock code is usually 12345 or 0000 try them .
