My database does not show your nomenclature. However, there is a SDR-80S. Click on this link and see if that is what you want: SDR-80S Support and Manual
Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)
try not to open the pc suite instead plub in direct to your pc then from the my computer icon open up the camera or mass storage icon then from there copy paste into a new folder on pc ( now your files should be safe) from there you can either use the pc suite software to convert files to DVD or use NERO 9,or Cyberlink power dvd,or total video converter, unfortunatley all are pay software but do offer trials however if you have FAST UNLIMITED broadband connection then you can do it for free by going to http://www.online-convert.com/ and select MPeg 2 should do the trick let me know how it goes. good luck
Primero trate de disinstallare VideoCam Suite 2.0. -Si iTunes da l'errore, disinstalla iTunes. -despues apague computadora por 30 segundi. -encienda computadora y solo installa VideoCam Suite 2.0. -despues prova a creare un dvd. Si funciona, installa iTunes. Si con iTunes, l'errore susede, iTunes usa algo que VideoCam suite 2.0 cambia en computadora.

You can't use their software on a Mac. Too bad, but alas.
I borrowed a Panasonic SDR-H40 to make a video reportage about my best friend's wedding, so I really had to find a way to make it work.
This is what I did to work around it. There is actually a topic about this problem in the apple support site here - the solution they offer comes down to:
You will need to convert that format into a DV format that imovie can use.
MPEG Streamclip (http://www.alfanet.it/squared5/mpegstreamclip.html) is free and Apple's QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component http://www.apple.com/quicktime/mpeg2/ is about $20.00. They are the tools that you need to download to convert these files. Once you have done that, export to DV Stream (.dv) and import it into iMovie. I think that, if you look a bit further, there will surely be free alternatives; for instance, you could give 'ffmpeg' a try. I have never been very lucky with that tool. This MPEG Streamclip, however, works very well. A hint: I noticed that the video that I import from the camera looks jagged around the edges, especially when the image is moving fast. You can eliminate this by checking the "Deinterlace Video" option in the DV export dialogue. I also checked the "Split DV stream in segments", because I will be using it with iMovieHD v.6
I've successfully downloaded & install the videocam suite 1.0 + update from here:
