Want to unock my LG RD3000 cdma mobile so that i can use any cdma network sim

I am having a Samsung Nexus SCHi515 with Verizon network( It has a sim slot)
I have taken the phone to India. I thought it could be unlocked and used in some CDMA network( Reliance) here since one of my friend have unlocked LG droid 3,(non-sim model),verizon network. But I have heard from some people that phone with sim slot cannot be unlocked and only the non sim model can be unlocked and registered with the Reliance CDMA network in India.
Is it not possible to unlock the model with sim slot?
Kindly help me out.

I m using lg-rd 3540 with reliance sim. I would like to migrate to Tata Inadicom. Will Tata's cdma sim work in this mobile? Should I do any upgradation for that? pls help me as soon as possible.

no sorry but u can not use gsm card in cdma phone

unlock with flasher box ( ufs tornado or the others )

You can unlock it by flashing your mobile if your mobile is a CDMA mobile...

I have CDMA mobiles like LG RD 3000.. All they accept only Reliance CDMA sims. I want to enter another CDMA sims in them! I havn't any data cables, but I know sim can be unlocked by codes also.. So, I asked somebody for help! I'll be always greatful for this!

i have LG Rd 3000 of reliance and i want to use tata sim on it. but when i insert tata sim it shows ''insert sim''. plz help me out

its very technicl procedure since usa has diiferent band usage you must have someone knows hows to reset the band.
