How broken- more detail if it is cracked - use tape. If it no longer works- checkout a repair at Sumsung customer support the price will be more than half the cost of reeplacing the camera
I had the the problem, I went to school, and at the end of the day, and wanted to take some pics of my friends, and when I saw my screen on black, and white, with a crack going through the screen my sister got sooo freaked mad,, I took it to Sears where we bought and they said they couldn't fix it,, But I have a solution is fix it,, this guy at a flea market fixed my brothers laptop when the screen was broken too, soo this week we are going to see if he can fix it,,, =)

I have somewhat of the same problem.I got a Sanyo VPC-E760 and one day I woke up and the screen was totally busted!There is like this little black mark that looks like a leaf on the right side,and on the left side there are a bunch of lines!There are about 5 cracks in the middle.It doesn't affect the pictures on the computer but I have not even had it for a month when it occurred.
Anyone have a solution?

It can be fixed, but I would be willing to bet that you would rather put the amount of money toward a new digital camera. They are extremely inexpensive, especially for Christmas this year. Splurge and get a second, new camera for yourself, and give the old broken screen one to someone who doesn't have a digital camera.

oh, i know what you felt, however i can give suggestion that might help you with. your cam can be fixed by specialist/ technician for cameras. I suggest that you should go to registered repair shop or to the store where you bought that camera they will fix it for you. Good Luck.

my grand daughter has a Samsung Digimax A503, her camera was in her purse and the screen got cracked. Samsung says they can not fix it. Is there anything that I can do about the screen. Can I have it replaced or even replace it myself

Manufacturers should create manuals also for "blind users", for using the camera without displays..

thats like mine, i turned it on one day and the screen appears white with a black bit in the corner and then like a crack.
