Can't eject cd magazine - E-99 error message

I can't eject the cd magazine from the cd autochanger Kenwood KDC-C717 (car radio model is KRC-758R). I get an E-99 error message and when I try to eject the cd magazine I only hear a noise but nothing happens.

Thanks I have a Kenwood KDC-C461 6-disc CD changer and can't eject the magazine. I only get a E-99 message and a black lever in the middle of he top seems to only go part way.

I put a small pin in the reset button a few times and that then got the catridge to eject.

When I select the CD mode on the setup, Error 99 appears. there is nothing wrong with CD's inserted in the changer

The loader can not load the cd's due to a worn out plastic gear. The plastic gear drives the loader and locks it in place. Have a qualified person check it out and replace the gear.

Can't eject cd magazine - E-99 error message

I had the same problem. I opened up the unit and found out that there is a plastic gear that moves the loader. When worn the loader can not load tha magazines nor change cd's. I replaced the gear and the cd autochanger worked fine.
