I purchased Kenstar Washing machine about 4 Yrs back from Kapila Electronics Janak puri New Delhi. It has not been used rigoursly due fault oftenly. I wish to know where to go for service or whether maintenance contract is available or not. If not why as it causes great enconvience to customer. if they do not provide services then why they are allowed to sell.

This is a no motor movement fault, This could be due to a fault with the RPS (rotor position sensor) or the machine electronics but either way would require an experienced person to repair.

hi I think the electronics is detecting an earth fault either on the motor or heater. on the motor earth leakages occur around the carbon brushes . although not related to the wear of the brush replacing the brushes can cure it. On rare occaisons I have known a plastic covering left on the aramature which collects carbon dust .dismantling the motor and removing the plastic cures this. ideally you need an insulation tester to isolate the problem the motor would always show an earth fault if the culprit, illimate this first and look at the heater last as if this is faulty the machine does not normally get to the fill position.
