Well first if it worked some where else it is not the lighting, did you replace it with another fixture and diid it work, if not i would have an electrician look at your wiring to make sure it is ok

SOURCE: Pentair PG 2000 light stopped working. Replaced

Have you replaced the ballast or did you just replace the capacitor? If you did not replace the ballast I would start there. Also if you have a multimeter check your bulb for continuity you may have gotten a bad bulb.

I have a track light with lamp holders with the following letters and numbers on them E204135EE059F-CWP. How do I get replacement bulbs and an extra lamp. Charles Fryling

Take a bulb out and take it to your local hardware store. Bulbs come in one of a dozen or two standard sizes. Easier than tracking down the model.

How to replace bulb on HD-2859

Those are sold at home depot. You could always go there and ask. From the pictures it looks like the cylinder that is plastic can be pressed in at the point the ring connection to the top. If that is not the case then the bottom disk might press up and flex to be pulled out through the bottom.

My 600 watt 12 volt transformer timer for out door lighting does not keep time properly. HOw do I get and install a new timer?

1) Amazon sells 600Watt power pack:
http://www.amazon.com/Malibu-8100-9600-01-Voltage-Power-Transformer/sim/B002ZRPM4A/2

2) I bought new 300Watt Malibu power pack at Home Depot about 2 months ago.
Near the lighting section.
My new power pack has electronic time clock, so no more 'slow clock.'
I think Home Depot had 600Watt.
Lowes carries different brand.

3) Manuals for power packs at Malibu lights.com
http://www.malibulights.com/customer_service/owners_manuals.aspx

4) Tips for buying and taking care of power pack:
-Match up wattage of bulbs with wattage of power pack
-15 each X 20 watt bulbs = 300 watts, so install 300Watt power pack
-Installing a 500W power pack on 300W of bulbs will burn out bulbs and power pack.
-Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out or other bulbs will burn out and power pack will burn out.
-When working on bulbs, unplug power pack or it may burn out.
http://www.malibulights.com/guides_support/low_voltage_planning_guide/select_your_power_pack

5) How to install power pack.
Before unplugging old power pack, check which bulbs are not working.
Replace bulbs using phillips screwdriver.
Unplug power pack.
Notice how wires are connected to power pack, write down terminal connections.
Some power packs have three terminals ... extra terminal is for additional photoelectric eye.
Use pliers or screwdriver to disconnect wires.
New power pack has has same terminals.
Plug in power pack.
Read instruction manual before connecting wires.
Save instruction manual because a few years that manual won't be around as products change.

The light bulb burned out in my Magic Chef microwave oven. I took the burned out bulb to Home Depot to buy a replacement. The manager recommended a different bulb that he said would work. I came home and...

It's possible that it is ruined, but the Home Depot guy should NOT have suggested a different bulb anyway--I would say contact the manager of the Home Depot store that you got the bulb from, and tell them what happened. If you can remember the employee's name, they might be able to help you better. This is something they should be able to compensate you for, because it was THEIR recommendation that may have ruined your microwave, therefore THEY are at fault, and should hold responsibility.

Good luck!

This Hampton Bay light fan fixture eats Light Bulbs

Read the manual to find out which size bulbs (base size and wattage) you need.

If you did use the right type of bulb and it lasted only 2 weeks, take them back to the store where you boght them for a refund.
