Turning the volume down to the last mark of very quiet, the 2nd mark the volume jumps, not real loud, but not what the next level of quiet should be. It has been this way since new, just really bugging us now. Is there any kind of software refresh in this TV?
This is not an issue with boot up (turn on) I don't believe. I am talking about, with the TV on and then from a moderate volume, turn it down. Say the phone rings and you want to lower the volume so folks in the room would still be able to hear but not interfer with my call. The last mark (lowest volume setting) before the sound is off, is too low to hear and the next mark borders on too loud to talk on the phone or sleep. It is that transistion that is my problem.
Now if you still suggest it is a control board issue, where can such a replacement be ordered by a handyman for this line and model?
Thanks again...let's try it from here.This is not an issue with boot up (turn on) I don't believe. I am talking about, with the TV on and then from a moderate volume, turn it down. There are instances where the compressor can come loose inside its housing. That is not an indication that it is going to totally fail and it has no effect other than the noise. The fan noise would be louder inside the fridge. It would be a squeal.
You can change the volume of your naxa nx 144 video player by;
1.Pressing and then holding down the VOL Button for about four to five seconds
2.After you do that you will see the number near the center of the bottom of the screen on the player's screen start to blink or flash.
3.When it is still flashing press the |<< O >>| or what some people including myself call the Rewind or Fast Forward buttons until the number that is still flashing on the bottom of the screen is a diffirent number then when it was when it started flashing earlier.
4. After you change the still flashing number for the player's volume until you get it as loud or as quiet as you desire repeat the first step by holding down the VOL Button once again for about four or five seconds and....v`iola it should be adjusted to your liking now.
Oh yeah before I forget here is a friendly word of advice for you. DO NOT FORGET and leave the volume on real loud and then play your song,video or,ect. before turning you volume back down because it will be REALLY LOUD and REALLY PAINFUL ON YOU EARS.
Thank You and I hope this helps for you.
It sound like a bad reostat in the volume control. if its under warranty send unit back to kenwood and have them replace the volume control, and possible speaker involvement.
you might have blown your speakers. Thats what it sounds like, if it got loud with a lot of low-end then it got all staticy and distorted, you fried teh speakers.
Freddy, hello. The first thought that comes to mind with your problem is that if the 29 is an older model, the audio circuit or audio chip could be tired. If your talking about the receive volume being low thru the ext. speaker, then there is a rx. wire inside the mic cord. When it breaks, it cuts the volume in about half. The rx. wire is on pin # 4. Maybe your using the wrong ohm value speaker. You need 4 or 8 ohm. If you are refering to the outgoing modulation being real low, then the radio mod. has just been turned down to 50-60%. That's about all I've got for now, not being able to actuallly see the radio,,, Have a good day, and let me know how it goes,, Mechanic
ya the volume of your source is your issue.
if it is too low, the unit cuts out after 45 seconds or so...
crank up the volume and turn it down on your headset
Sometimes the rear channels can be used as a 2nd zone. Does the unit have A&B speaker selection on front panel? Usually if it has a 2nd zone it will say in owerns manual or on back of unit or on front panel as well. That is when you have the option to adjust the volume in the menu on the 2nd zone. GURU JAY
