LG split AC keeps displaying CO and wont't turn off with remote.

LG split AC keeps displaying CO and wont't turn off when you use the remote control. You have to use the button affixed to the Art cool indoor unit to shut the system off.

I have changed the battery of the remote and checked if the signal is emitting from the remote using camera and it is fine. But the split AC is not receiving the signal.

My lg split ac non inverter is working fine but missing command beep

  1. Check the remote control: Look for a button on your remote control labeled "Beep" or "Sound". Press this button to turn the beep sound back on .
  2. Check the settings: If you can't find a "Beep" or "Sound" button on your remote control, check the settings menu on your AC unit. Look for an option to turn the beep sound on or off and make sure it's turned on .
  3. Reset the AC unit: If neither of these steps work, try resetting your AC unit to its factory default settings. To do this, turn off the AC unit and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on .
If none of these steps work, it's best to contact a professional or LG's service center for further assistance.
I hope this helps!

We have LG spilt AC unit and the remote was last. if there is any setting in the AC unit for to ON the AC unit without remote?

There will be manual butting near the display. Lift the front cover and you can see. But no option to change mode or setting temp. It's strictly advisable to buy new remote.Thanks.

Displaying "Co" code, and running when turned off with the remote

It sounds like you have lost communication between the indoor and outdoor units. This can be one of two things. Either the connection indoor or outdoor is loose or bad, or a rat may have eaten the cable in cieling.

LG Split unit turns itself off after a couple of seconds of opera

Check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Reset the unit by disconnecting the power supply for 10 sec. then "on" again and start the unit. If it wont work you need a qualified tech. to solve the problem. Some of your safety device might be defective.

No Display on controller

Try replacing the battery but if it wont work you need to replace the remote control itself, but for the main time you can operate the unit by pressing the emergency switch button to operate the unit manually.
