It sounds like tou have security on your wireless network and you are not entering the network key or pass-phrase correctly.

check your wifi settings by turning on your wifi, instead of selecting wpa or wpe, select infrastructure and select none for password. try also dragging your wifi home network to your phone wifi icon. and check.

The AP & DNS means a code which makes your mobile registered.the dns and ap address will be getted from the wifi connection center .

If you're getting an authentication failure, you need to stop trying to get into your neighbors wifi... No, Seriously, here's the deal... 1. If you're inputting a password, you're not setting it to the right type of encryption...Try them all with the same pass 2. If you're sure it's the right encryption, make sure it's the right password, correct spelling, and capitalizations are a MUST!!! 3. There could be a chance that there's a password on the wifi network, and the phone's OS doesn't have an icon show up for that (you'd be surprised where manufacturers cut corners to mass produce things cheaper, and samsung's bad about that with their phones.

wifi is asking the password of the wifi device that you are trying to connect. if the device is not yours and you are connecting it from someone else device so plz ask them that what is the password. plz get the password from the wifi device owner and enter it in the wifi profile this will solve you problem.
