Thats a weird one. The machine is detecting the wrong speeds.
Try this.

  1. Enter Diagnostic Mode ( UI Diagnostic Mode).
  2. At the Control Panel, press and hold the 0 key for 5 seconds, then press the Start button while still pressing the 0 key.
  3. Press buttons 6, 7, 8, and 9 on keypad and press Confirm.
  4. Press the Log In/Out button (button with Key symbol) on the Control Panel.
  5. Select System Settings.
  6. Select Common Settings.
  7. Select Maintenance/Diagnostics.
Then look at these 3 locations and see if they match, If they do not set them to match the machine speed.

Defective IIt/IPS board. Is very expensive. Call you local Xerox service number and ask them for part number 160K99811 and how much it would cost to get it fixed.

I found a reference to this for you in a Xerox service forum from one of the forum admins, who said:".....try reseating the Transfer Unit and see if that will clear the code. If not please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance."

You can find the message in her forum complete with links on how to do the above at the link below. Good luck! --Mark

How do I fix error code 091-914 for my Xerox C123 copier?

If you installed the correct drum, then the Crum PWB 160K95830 might be bad. This reads the chip on the drum.

If not, then you might be installing a "metered" cost-per-page version. Double check the part numbers.

CopyCentre C123 Copier Copier: CODE 116-331...

It may be a defective Main System Controller board 160K91660 or Hard Drive 960K01120.

There is a diagnostic which requires the Xerox Technician's Laptop to test the Hard Drive.

You might get lucky just reseating the Hard Drive.
