Did you try to uninstall the 2 Apacer RAM modules & test only with the 2 Kingston modules to see if your PC will boot up?

If this is dual channel memory, you have to use matching pairs for each channel. 2 kingston sticks will not neceserrily be a matching pair.

I have a Biostar Motherboard K8M800-M7A and i just recently bought a kingston ram memory 1GB 400mhz KVR400X64C3A. Everywhere i look for on the internet says they are compatible but i dont get them to work....

Hello,
You are correct, this motherboard can use either 333mhz DDR (PC2700) or 400mhz DDR (3200) chips.
You may have a bad chip. Also make sure you are not mixing this chip with another of another speed. Its not good practise to mix 333mhz and 400mhz though some motherboards will still work like that.
Your best bet for compatibility is crucial DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 128Meg x 64 •
Personally I have had bad luck with kingston ram myself.

I had just one memory module on this motherboard which was kingston ddr, 256mb, pc2100. Then i upgraded my mobo with one stick of pc3200 ddr ram, and it keeps restarting and sometimes it just turns off...

PC 3200 is not supported by this motherboard. It will cause problems. You need to use PC2100 RAM.

Hope this helps.

Not recognizing memory.

The Asus P4S800-X MB can use Dual channel DDR memory and single channel memory. The dual channel memory which comes in matching packs. (Normally 2 DIMMS per pack) is the faster memory.
In other words if you are installing, 4- 512MB DIMMS of PC3200 all memory should be matched,
or you're MB may not see all connected DIMM'S.

See page vii in you're manual. If you're running windows XP, Home or Pro edition the bios will show up to 4GB of memory installed but windows XP 32bit will only show 3GB of memory. As mentioned above all 4 of you're 512MB of memory should be dual channel and run at the same speed. You can run both single channel and dual channel but you must follow Table 1 in you're manual. (1-9).
Example; PC3200 400MHz.
Or 4-512MB PC2700 333MHz. See page 1-9 for memory configurations and the QVL list supported.
Check out Asus FAQ's; http://support.asus.com/faq/faq.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P4S800D-X&product=6&os=17

This should help you configure the memory.
Good luck!

What speed,or memory that runs best in a syntax svm266a m.b.

The pc3200 would be best.
Do not mix different speeds together.
I'd go with the max of 2gig.

Adding memory to tx pro mainboard

You do not say what memory you are trying to install.

The ASUS P4S800D motherboard has four memory slots that hold DDR PC2700 or DDR PC3200 with a maximum of 1GB per slot, so the installed maximum is 4GB.

DDR memory is generally available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1GB modules. If you already have memory installed, it must be at least 128MB so you cannot add modules to 'bring memory to 128'.

Either you have a different motherboard and posted in the wrong section, your memory calculations are wrong, or you have used older PC-133,PC-100 or PC-66 memory instead of DDR. The last is unlikely as older SDRAM has two notches and won't physically fit into a DDR slot that only has one notch.

Please re-post with the specific motherboard model just to confirm and a list of the memory modules you are trying to use.
