Take the four-digit module number from the back of the watch, enter it, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.
I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill
You can get a full set of instructions from the Casio web .Click on site (casio.com) click on "support", then manuals , watches, you must accept the terms. Select watch manual archive".
Read the number off the back of the watch and enter it into the search box and click on search. Download your instructions.
Enter the 3 or 4 digit number from the back of your watch in the module box. The number will probablly be in a box and next to the model number of your watch.
The manual is .pdf format so if you do not have Adobe Acrobat reader or another .pdf reader installed on your machine, click on the link at the top of the called "Get Adobe Reader" and install it. Once it is install search for and download the manual. The manuals are all that obvious so you may have to read through several of the sections to find the information you need.
See: http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw4303.pdf and go to the section "Adjusting the Home Position"
This is a "calibration" procedure to get the motor of the analog movement back to the home position of 12:00. This worked for me, after replacing the battery.
Note that in this procedure the hour hand does not move separately, but moves with the minute hand. So to get the hour hand to move, you have to let the minute hand spin a number of times until you get the hour hand up to twelve o'clock.
Managed to set the home time - through trial and error.
Left it at the window for a few minutes and VOILA - the watch did the rest.
MAGIC!
It keeps time perfectly.
