Blue screen should give an error number- if it will still start that far.
That error code would help you -just search on-line for the error number, but see Microsofts answers, not to get a dodgy answer.
I believe the L305 is a Vista base laptop (unless updated).
There are a few things you can try-
If system restore did not work, it is possible the hard drive has a faulty segment-
If you have a vista cd, you can try command prompt from there (scroll down the page to see it) and in command prompt window- type 9apparently 32 bit vista recovery iso is available here
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/15074/Recovery-CD-for-Windows-Vista-
chkdsk /f/r then press enter button-when finished type in EXIT, and the window will close.
This will then check and fix any disc errors
If it still refuses to boot- Go to command prompt, and type in
bootrec.exe /FixBoot
For more instruction on this go to
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/927392/use-bootrec.exe-in-the-windows-re-to-troubleshoot-startup-issues
First the ram- Try removing one at a time, and see if that will work-or, change the ram, or, try the ram in different slot, one at a time.
