My food is freezing in the refrigerator. I have the temp set low (2) and it is still freezing. Even the vegetables in the drawers are freezing. I made sure the vents in the freezer were not blocked, but that didn't seem to help. I have a GE Profile side by side. It is 6 years old. Not sure if it is the same model nbr as shown.

I HAD same problem. Had another problem that I didn't believe was related; water dispenser intermittent. I had no luck reading here, so I went after the intermittent water problem. Read all about water line heater modifications, cleaning the water line, then I found something about blocking the vent from the freezer to the frig, just to the left of the veggie bin.
I removed my veggie bin and found lots of ice on the exterior of the bin, left back edge, adjacent to a vent blowing cold air from the freezer. Guess what behind bin-a reservoir for the cold water. I put painters tape over the vent hole. and returned the frig temp back to 5 from 2. No frozen vegies, no intermittent water, freezer fine too.

Same thing. Vegetables freeze..
I have an Amana with freezer on the bottom and the vegetable crisper freezes my veggies regularly, so I will try the suggestions listed and hope I will also save some energy.. most of the reasons seem to do with the freezer working over time and then the air from the freezer is blown into the fridge..
I will report back if it works! And any further info is appreciated!
