Most likely a $450 water pump. or if it is not a remote condensor unit and has a fan then hopefully its only a $35 fix. I have seen the fan blades crack near the hubs ..

I have an 11 cf upright freezer. it has been running most of the time or at least make a noise. and I just defrosted it. and its still doing the same thing. any comments?

Good Afternoon friend, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire freezer is making noise and you have recently defrosted it, but your freezer is still making the noise. Your freezer will make certain noises which are normal operating noises for the freezer.

The compressor is a high efficiency so you may hear it during start up and while running. Additionally, refrigerant circulating through your freezer can make a tapping sound or even a gurgling noise. I hope this has been helpful. -Matt

The sides are very hot

Is the compressor still running, or making a noise like it is running? Is the internal temperature changing at all?

Freezer stopped working.

It might be the compressor making the noise. If it is,the compressor will start/stop frequently. This means that it is tripping on overload due to mechanical damage.Only way to solve this prolem is to replace the compressor (if the freezer is still in a good condition).

Freezer LFFH21F7HW upright is making to much noise when it runs. Is this an ongoing problem?

Hi, What kind of noise is it making?

Also have you tried moving the fridge slightly incase its up against a unit or sitting uneven as this can cause a noise if after this you still have the noise their isnt much you can do about it as its not worth replacing parts that are working fine.

I would move the fridge slightly or adjust the legs so its sitting even as this can cause a vibrating noise.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

My kenmore freezer is making a lous noise that

Is it still cooling ok - or is it going a bit weird ?

It could be the flow control solenoid - that affects where the gas goes - or the compresor motor (big black thing).

If it does not cool at all - it will need a new run capacitor on the compressor.
If it seems to cool ok - but sometimes too much - then suspect the solenoid coil / control for this.

Neither are that expensive.

Amana 25. cu ft..freezer not working...making rattling noise now and then

Check the defrost timer, rotate it until a solid click is heard. If your unit starts to work replace that timer. Good Luck
