How do I change my password for a WBR-1310 router?

if you know the current password to the router please login to it by going to
http://192.168.0.1
if you dont the default login/password is admin/admin
once you login go to the tools link
below you can change the password.
if you want to change the wireless network password go to
setup>wireless settings
and change the security password there.

How do I to make a password for the D-Link 802.11g Wireless Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310) ?

Connect via etherne cable or wireless to the D-Link
Open up a Internet Explorer or Firefox, and enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar.
The username is "Admin"
The password is blank (enter nothing)
Then click "Setup Wizard" and follow along to change the password.

Go to http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310

and select the data you want. The software is down loadable. make sure that your router is not a B or C version as the one shown is just for the WBR-1310. It also has setup instructions if you want to learn to do it your self rather than default to setup software.

How do I password protect my WBR-1310 for my iMac?

First you have to access the router through web browser (Internet Explorer) by typing the IP address of your router in the address bar, which is usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 and lookup for the options to do the following: -
1. Change the SSID (Name) of the router
2. Change the default administrative user name and password (unless you've configured otherwise, the default username is admin and the password password.)
(The above step would prevent unauthorized access to your router)

Next step is to secure it:
1.On the left-hand side, under Setup, click "Wireless Settings" 2.Under "Security Options", select your desired encryption method (preferably WPA2-PSK)
3.Choose a Network Key - it can be anything, as long as it's 8-63 characters in length
4. Click Apply

Now your router and your connection would become secure and the user has to provide the network key to access the internet.

I have a D-Link WBR-1310 and need to reset it to factory level so i can reenter a new admin and password. I lost mine a while ago.

U can reset it & try
user name admin
password : admin

then u can go inside router & change password

Hi, I just want to know why you want to chnage the NAT type of your router?

My suggestion is instead of changing the NAT type of your router, just open a port. or enable the DMZ on the router.

Hey litestreem,

I am assuming you already know how to access your router so, in order to reset your password you are going to need to reset your router to factory defaults.

There is a small button located on the back that you need a small pin in order to reach, hold that in until you see the lights turn off then come back on.

You will now be able to get in your router with the default user name which is admin, just leave password blank. Don't forget to reconfigure a new password!

If you can't find a CD just visit the D-Link support page for your router and you can download most of the stuff that was on the CD. This would include the product manual, the latest firmware and helpful FAQ's.

Trying to connect wii to wifi. Using D-Link WBR 1310 router and ATT DSL. Wii says "cannot find access point". I've taken off all security and still doesn't work. My I-phone connects fine.

Try creating a new wireless connection network or disable the UPnP on your WBR-1310.

Cannot access the WBR-1310 webpage

if you are wireless, after a reset you need to connect with the router using an RJ45 lan connector lead. Reboot your notebook, while connect to router and then type in the default address for the set up page normally 192.168.0.1

Go the router setup page, 192.168.0.1, type admin as the user name and password as the password (default, if you have changed these use your login info).
Then on the wireless page change the SSID (router name).
You can also add a security key on this page.
