I've a 97 bosch wff2000, washes, drains but will NOT spin either after main wash, rinse nor does it do the final spin. Had it from new, so definately can't complain. I've just replaced brushes recently, cleared out fluff trap and pump area which had little "Crud", in it. Also the hose at the rear of the drum which leads to a white plastic vessel at the bottom of the drum. Carried out a 90 degree maintenance wash but to no avail. Which again went through the motions but NO SPIN Did notice for the fist time a repeating single flash from the PREWASH LED but I have no water supply issue and supply HOT and COLD hose gauzes have been cleared of any obstructions. Any Ideas? Many Thanks

Try disconnecting the small bore hose from the pressure chamber it could be the switch has stuck in the on position in which case the pressure chamber is blocked (the chamber is at the other end of the small bore hose )

SOURCE: Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning

HI,

move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor. Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that there is something that blocks water running.

thank you for using fixya, rate my answer,

SOURCE: Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

SOURCE: Hotpoint WMA washing machine

I think you have gone through all the basic points. But before the work did the machine work perfectly except for the noise? If so I would advice that you must start to check all the points mentioned once again.
Check with the program controller unit. Make sure that the connections to the water level sensors, the door switch , the drain and inlet valves are with good contact. Remove and reconnect. Also check individually the inlet valve for good flow, the drain valve for good flushing , the water level sensor settings must be rechecked-- it is possible a low setting can produce this fault.
If none of the other sections indicate any fault the possible reason can only be that the program controller has errors. Remove off power plug, drain off all voltage from the power board- push down the start/stop to drain residual voltage so as to reset the processor.
I am sure that if the machine worked prior to the work there is possible careless resetting that caused this fault and so you need to go through the circuit ...check for wire damage, door switch fault.

Bosch WFF2000 machine selected 60deg wash ,it clicks from main wash position on dial a couple of clicks then trips the whole house. This issue happened very suddenly. What could it be

agitator motor has broken windings causing a short when it tries to start. This trips the breaker in the main panel. If not repaired you could have a fire and that is why the breaker blows

Bosch classixx washing machine over fills, stops for 5 mins, drains water and stuck on rinse without doing the wash cycle. it spins when spin cycle is manually selected.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Test a pressure switch: Click on : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZZ2bDMspj8

Check this link to replace the inlet valve:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

My WFF2000 machine will not drain or spin. Can you help?

If the washer does not drain, then it will not spin anyway.
Sounds like a blocked filter.
It should be located at the bottom front right of washer./Unscrew anti-cloickwise to remove and clean, if this does not cure it, then the pump itself could be faulty.
